Yesterday was a lazy day for us.. we slept in, watched the travel channel on netflix while we waited for laundry, I found a few hours to varnish a painting for my cousin (it's coming Heather!) and experiment with my inks a bit more, we read and spent a couple of hours by the pool, and then met up with my aunt and uncle for a delicious light dinner and rootbeer floats! Well, ice cream for me because I'm strange, but James had never had one! We are teaching him so much.
Those inks though. Oh they are frustrating. But, luckily I ended up with something I actually really love. I started with five washes, and ended with two prints. Those are good odds, I'd say. And now they're in the shop....!

// Post cuban date, we saw The Bourne Legacy at the new theater at Fashion Island, because it was the only one with a showing in the 9 'o'clock hour and I'm an old woman, and the tickets were $18.50 EACH! I mean, the seats were nice, and you could take in beer or wine (not that we did) but STILL. It ended up being an expensive evening.
