Like I mentioned last week... we ventured out to Maggiano's to celebrate our two year anniversary and it is now officially going into the rotation of "our favorite places". I made the reservation online at the last minute, and we were on our way.
I'd passed the restaurant hundreds of times, but I never went because I always assumed it was out of my price range. Granted, some dishes are more expensive, BUT, if you order a "classic pasta".. you not only get one of the best pasta dishes of your life, but you also get to choose an additional pasta to take home. Who does that? Two meals for the price of one? (or three if you eat like me).
It ended up being no more expensive than any other restaurant, and the extra meals made it seem like a bargain. The food was delicious, and we had a really charming waiter who answered all of our questions. Needless to say, we loved it.
Maggiano's. 5 stars.
