The bump series is over! While I didn't do the best job at posting about it regularly, we tried really hard to take pictures of Paloma's growing belly every week..
But it was hard... and we missed several of them. oops.
Overall, it was such a fun experience. Remembering to take the photos, using my mediocre photoshop skills and just watching her body evolve as the weeks went on... Something that seemed to go so slowly in the beginning seemed to speed up as time went on until wow, A baby is here.

She was a real trooper.. the last photo of her at 40 weeks was actually taken while she was in labor, in between contractions, a few hours after her water broke, and only 5 hours before little Mya made her grand entrance.
Welcome to the world, little lady. We're glad you're here.

I love the last picture! Such a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out so good! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteHey lady-- can you tell me how you removed the background from these pics so it's just Paloma? I want to do this with some photos of my own but I don't know what program to use! THANKS! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe did it all in photoshop! Are you familiar with PS? We took all of the photos against a white background, and then I used the magic eraser tool to erase the white and drag her image into a new window. I can show you sometime over skype if you want!
DeleteThanks! I have used Photoshop in the past but never re-installed it on my new computer. I need to get on that! I love how the end product looks-- you did a great job on this project! xoxo
DeleteLove these!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I noticed your Blogspot on Paloma's Facebook. Thank you for sharing...it was a beautiful documentary. The very last one with the 40 weeks and then Mya, is wonderful, and Paloma was so diligent and blessed in completing the sequence for you, as you were for putting it all together. I look foreward to hearing and seeing your big day on Saturday...being at the top of the Posford family tree for my generation, I'll be sure to have our cousin Charles script you into the tree June 2nd. Congratulations both you and James.
